Have you said for years that you just need a getaway to switch off from the one million things you are juggling every day?
A girls trip is a perfect time to rest and relax and to take a little break from being a wife, mom, career woman, or all three.
Girls trips are good for your health, happiness and refreshes your soul! The older you get the busier you get, but the older you get the more needed it is. Did you know that medical studies show that the bond between women is critical to emotional and physical health? What a perfect way to do just that.
Do you have a group of women friends who know you well? When you are with them, you can be yourself without being judged or having to deal with unnecessary drama. These friends know you and appreciate and love who you are. Maybe there's a whole group of you or you have 2 or 3 close friends who are not in the same social circle, take the time and escape with one or all of them. You will be glad that you did.
Wives and mothers often feel guilty for stepping away from their family. I hope you listen right now. Don't! Don't! Life is short and goes fast. When you are at the end of your life, you will want to remember special times with those sweet friends. Plus, getting away and coming back recharged will make you an even better wife and mom.
Girls trips are the perfect time to switch off and recharge. Are you ready to plan your girls trip? I hope you are.
*I have went on several girls trips over the years. A getaway in Branson, Mo. A condo in Destin. A full week cruise to celebrate a friend's Birthday. A few nights at a Scottsdale resort. Glamping in Arizona and Utah. Weekends in NYC. International trips to Switzerland and Italy. There are so many ways and budgets that you can do a girls trip, the important thing is that you just do it.
